Greetings! I'm Lorena Castañeda Fernández, originally from Guadalajara, México, born on December 19, 1997.
My academic journey started with studies in graphic design at the University Anáhuac of Querétaro. However, after four semesters, I changed my focus to Industrial Design, culminating in my graduation in May 2022. Presently, I am deeply engaged in pursuing a Master's degree in Illustration and Techniques at LABASAD University in Barcelona.
My passion for art and creativity stems from childhood, where drawing and hands-on activities were my constant companions. This visual talent guided me into the world of Design, creativeness and children illustration, which have become my primary professional interests. At the heart of my career aspirations, lies the desire to make a meaningful impact through children's literature, crafting narratives that assist young minds in navigating complex emotions and situations.
I currently find fulfillment as a teacher at "Beelieve Preschool" in Guadalajara, a role that allows me to forge deep connections with my students and gain insights into their world. This firsthand understanding fuels my ability to craft engaging stories that resonate with children.
In addition to my teaching role, I've built a substantial following of approximately 380k on TikTok, where I share my creative process and engage with fellow artists and enthusiasts. This platform has allowed me to connect with a diverse audience and showcase my artwork to a wide range of viewers.
I have extensive experience across various roles in graphic design, marketing, and illustration, where I’ve brought creativity and strategy together to deliver impactful visual solutions. I excel at finding creative solutions, learning about new things, and also possess strong skills in designing and creating physical objects, blending functionality with aesthetics.
